The ipcas USB I/O, Ethernet I/O is the well-proven all-in-one solution for your analog and digital communication. (Universal Input/Output Box)
The device is ideally suited for extensive measurement data acquisition and analysis as well as for the needs of automation technology.
Its integration into existing system environments is easily performed without retrofitting.
All you need is a USB connection.

Due to its highly flexible, modular structure, the USB to Input/Output Box (and Ethernet Input/Output) is best equipped to suit any individual solution. 5 module connections are available.

  • 5 analog inputs
  • 1 analog output and 4 analog inputs
  • 3x PT100 (4 wire)

Special feature:

Extended temperature range from -40° to +70° Celsius.

Due to its extremely wide temperature range, the USB to I/O Adapter can be operated under extreme temperature conditions. This enables you to use the USB I/O in the most adverse rugged environments.

The Input/Output Box is connected via USB. The voltage supply is also provided via USB. The power input is extremely low, so that energy consumption is kept to a minimum, so all you need is one USB. Optionally, the I/O extension can be connected externally to a 24V circuit.

The USB I / O, Ethernet I / O Box is a ideal extension for the ipcas Linux box LB3.

USB Input Device – USB I/O

The USB Input Device (USB I/O) provides universal interfaces for recording digital input signals directly (and analog signals via converter)
through the USB connection of a PC or embedded system. The device has been uniquely designed for industrial deployment, and is
especially suitable for data acquisition, assessment of control signals as well as for post-processing of S0 signals, for example,
from thermistors, water meters and kilowatt-hour power meters.

Equipped with 6 digital ports (24 V DC) and 6 thermistor inputs (for DS18S20) via one-wire bus, it can be used to record any
kind of input values. Bit patterns, counted measurands, and events are relayed directly via USB interfaces to a server where they
can be visualized, evaluated and processed.

The voltage supply for the USB Input Device is provided via USB. Sensors, thermistors and clocks are attached with spring clips.
With these properties and its compact design the USB Input Device is your ideal companion also suitable for mobile deployment.
The intuitive and easily understandable configuration software allows you to adjust the settings of the various ports
(e.g., S0 interval, temperature measurements, etc.) to suit your individual requirements.
