ipEther232 Configtool Update – Version 15.3 is available now

For the products of ipEther232 family is now the revised configuration tool available for download. It can be downloaded on the respective product websites and in the support area section.

The following operating systems are supported:

  • Windows Server 2003/7/Server2008 (32-Bit and 64-Bit)
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-Bit)

In addition to many smaller improvements have been mainly the communication in compatibility mode (Compatibility Mode) greatly expanded.

The configuration tool is suitable for the following ipcas products:

ipEther232Virtual COM port
ipEther232.ModemEthernet Modem
ipEther232.PPPPPP – Gateway
ipEther232.IOI/O Data logger / Event logger
ipNTPNTP time server

New Configtool Version 15.1 for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems


The configuration tool for products of the ipEther232 family has been thoroughly revised and is now available for download on the respective product websites and in the support section.

Certified Windows drivers enable the installation under

  • Windows XP with ServicePack 3 (32-Bit)
  • Windows Server 2003/Vista/7/Server2008 (32-Bit and 64-Bit)
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-Bit)

Apart from some corrections, the main focus was to improve and enhance the 64-bit driver for ipEther232.

The configuration tool is available for the following products:

Firmware and drivers of our virtual COM-Port
ipEther232 have been updated.

Virtual COM-Port ipEther232: Firmware update
On the product and support page the 32-bit drivers (version 14.03) for ipEther232 and the current firmware (version 12.3) are now available for download.

Firmware 14.03: A small bug with the RS485 two-wire communication was fixed.

The firmware 14.03 can be used with the configtool version 12 as well as with version 14.
