Versatile terminal device for virtually any application
This universal network terminal device has been specially designed for direct data acquisition, clocking in/out and data retrieval. The multi-functional Ethernet Terminal device connects directly to any server using its Ethernet interface.
Each terminal allows automatic data acquisition, such as metering, monitoring, alerting, and manual operation, e.g. confirmation, text entry, and late reports.
Terminal dialogs can be configured in such a way that one model can meet the needs of diverse applications ranging from the acquisition of production and machine data to time data collection, or computer aided quality assurance.

Multiple Applications
The versatile Ethernet terminal is supported by configurable dialog systems and suits a wide range of applications from production data acquisition (PDA), machine data acquisition (MDA) and time data collection (TDA) to quality assurance (CAQ), access control systems, and time recording.

The bright backlit 4-line display is easy to read. People, orders, etc. can be signed in or out either manually using the membrane keypad, or automatically with the integrated RFID reader. The Ethernet terminal has four digital inputs for signal acquisition and two relay ouptuts for signal control. Additional devices (such as bar code reader, label printer, measuring and test devices) can be connected using the serial RS232/485 interface. The Ethernet interface allows easy integration of the Ethernet terminal into PC networks.
A conventional RS 485 infrastructure and additional master terminals are no longer required. This reduces set-up costs and, at the same time, speeds up data communication.
All applications are programmed in a PC environment with XML technology and run on a central server, which faciliates administration substantially.
