Embedded System with digital and analog IO'sIntelligent IO Ethernet Solution
Among many other application areas, this smart embedded system is mainly used as:
- Platform for individual solutions,
- customer-specific implementation
- Telecontrol device (RTU)
|
| Due to numerous integrated interfaces, many different applications such as converting, recording, alerting, counting, etc. can be accomplished with this system. The IO modules can be populated customer-specifically if required. This provides you with a large scope to develop your own ideas and solutions. |

|
| In the present-day industrial world flexible and cost-effective implementation has become an issue of increasing demand. The Linux Box I/O offers an excellent price-performance ratio. A wide range of IO modules and implemented telecontrol protocols account for the outstanding versatility of the Linux Box. In addition, the network-compatible LB2 (LAN 10/100 BaseT Ethernet, RJ45 jack) is equipped with two USB 1.1 and two serial (RS232) interfaces, one of which can easily be used as RS485 interface. |
|
IO – Extension Boxcan be used for IO extension of the Linux Box LB2 or as standalone unit.
This IO measuring or control unit is connected with a USB cord. |
- Number of IO modules selectable (3, 6, or 9 modules)
- Type of IO modules selectable (digital input, digital output or analog input/output)
- Combination of IO modules freely selectable
- No additional power source required ? operation / power input only with provided USB cord
- Low power consumption
Application areas:
IO extension for LB2, MDA (machine data acquisition), PDA (production data acquisition), measuring, open- and closed-loop control, switching, visualization, alerts, etc. |
