Metering.Network - Supply Meter Management via Ethernet

Smart metering via Ethernet

Ideal for effective recording, storage, and display via Ethernet of supply data recorded by S0 supply meters.

- Electric meter
- Gas meter
- Water meter
- Heating meter

Leading edge supply metering technology helps you achieve substantial cost-saving effects (smart metering).

Metering.Network is a measuring device for the recording, storage, and visualization of measuring data from electronic S0 supply meters in all areas of industrial, commercial, and private resource consumption.

Configuration, functionality and applications

- When do peak loads occur?
- Which users produce which peak loads?
- Which users generate which consumption and costs in Euros?
- Which user groups generate which costs?
Smart metering - time related work throughout the day Smart metering - time related work and peak deamand throughout the day

- Performance The maximum value per minute is stored for the last 365 days (525,600 values per year / per channel).
- Work The consumption is stored in 15 minute values (35,040 values per year / per channel).
- Use data per 15 min/day
- Use data per day/month
- Use data per month/year
- Peak load analysis time/performance
- Evaluation for individual users or user groups

Universal online utility management system

The comprehensive energy management sytem of Metering.Network includes:
  1. Electronic S0 active power meter
  2. S0 supply meter collector (up to 12 S0 active power meters can be connected)
  3. Evaluation and visualization software (any number of supply meter collectors can be connected)

The active power meter, supply meter collector, and the evaluation and visualization software all add up to form a comprehensive system with which you can easily implement cost-saving supply metering.

The Metering.Network can be easily parameterized via Ethernet and adapted to individual user requirements. The pulses produced by the S0 AC electricity meter are recorded by the supply meter collector. These can be then transferred to a central server for visualization and further processing for immediate consumption analyses.

Data transfer via power grid (powerline carrier)

The powerline carrier (PLC) provides an extended network connection solution using the available
power lines. In areas without available network connections (e.g. switchboard or basement switching cabinets) the Metering.Network, optionally equipped with an integrated PLC adapter, can be easily connected to the standard 230V AC power supply line (socket). At the client (user PC / server), a PLC adapter (e.g. a devolo dLAN adapter) must then be connected to the power grid (socket) and to the PC. The in-house power meter also serves as a physical boundary for data protection.

Performance features of S0 supply meter collector

- Up to 12 S0 supply meters can be connected
- Ethernet connection with FTP server
- Battery buffered real-time clock
- 512 MB non-volatile memory
- 24V DC or 230V AC, or optionally, a powerline carrier is available for 230V AC (Data transfer via power supply system is offered as an alternative to Ethernet wiring)
Smart metering - S0 active power meter

S0 active power meter

Electronic 230V AC supply meter for mounting on support rails / DIN rails. The meter records the active power of the current flowing between input and output.

- Rated voltage / Rated current: 230V AC, 50/60Hz
- Load current: min. 5mA / max. 16A
- DIN-EN 50022 support rail for mounting, 27mm
- Very flat casing (only 42mm high)
- Optocoupler S0 interface (DIN 43864 standard): 3200 pulses/kWh
- Own use / Power input: 2 watts

The S0 interface

The S0 interface is a DIN 43864 standard hardware interface for transferring measurement values in digital form. The data transfer is performed by means of pulses. The parameter is recorded and "weighted", for example, electrically in kW / kWh or flow volume in m³ / m³h.
