Paper Printer Replacement - ipEther232.LogPrinter

Digital archiving of printed logs

Many production companies still consume large quantities of paper while printing out logs on a daily basis. Conventional log printers often interfere with processing, they get dirty quickly, and are prone to operation failures such as paper jamming, etc. And what do you do when their spare parts start to gradually run out of stock - especially in times of increased logging demands and growing market requirements for continuous monitoring?

Besides, the storing and backtracking of paper log data can be extremely time-consuming and cost-intensive.

Your best solution is then to replace your conventional log printer with the ipEther232.LogPrinter.
The compact device transmits all incoming log data directly from the machine to the PC in digital form. No conversion of existing production machines or interfaces is necessary. Paper logs only need to be printed out on request, for example, with a commercial printer from a PC in the foreman's office.

The ipEther232.LogPrinter is simply attached to the machine and thus replaces the paper printer. Of course, the paper log printer can also continue to be used additionally if required.

Machine log data are often written in the ASCII code. This enables convenient further data processing, for example, with standard applications such as MS-Excel, Access, or SQL databases.
Additional advantages
The ipEther232.LogPrinter contains a data buffer of 600 lines of 80 characters. Transmission errors are automatically reported by e-mail through error monitoring. Conventional paper log printing is often aggravated by repeated line overwriting, torn ink ribbons, or paper jams, which may lead to irretrievable data loss. The procurement of spare parts for older paper log printers is often time-consuming, and total replacement can be quite cost-intensive.
The ipEther232.LogPrinter, in contrast, is almost maintenance-free, and further digital processing opens up new opportunities.
