Records digital inputs via Ethernet
Standalone Data Logger of ipcas GmbH features a Data/Event Logger with as many as 12 digital inputs. Due to its embedded firmware and installed mass storage, the data logger remains self-supporting, thus saving substantial maintenance and operation costs. The recorded digital input signals can be buffer-stored and called up from a user PC with FTP access via Ethernet or PowerLAN. Among its wide range of applications are:

Can be used offline as standalone
Standalone Data Logger is supplied with integrated, non-volatile mass storage where as much as 512 MB of measuring and process data can be stored. No data is lost and the device can be operated offline whenever the PC or network is not available.

12 digital input channels
Standalone Data Logger has 12 digital input channels to record digital signals. All of these comply with the common industrial standards of 24V DC for automation and machine controls.

Ethernet connection
Standalone Data Logger can be connected directly to a PC or PC network via Ethernet interface (10/100 BaseT Ethernet). The connection to a PowerLAN or, respectively, PLC (data transfer via power grid) is also possible with the optional PowerLAN - Module. Consequently, the device can also be used in locations with difficult access without Ethernet connection (RJ45 connection).
The recorded data can be either called locally through a USB connection or transferred via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) connection.

Compact and scalable structure
Standalone Data Logger is a mark for its compact design (no larger than W/H/D: 93/42/96 mm), easy integration, and the wide range of its possible applications. Among these are process and machine data acquisition, automation, building control systems and measuring data acquisition.
Due to its compact structure, the Standalone Data Logger can also be installed on machines, systems, or test stands, therefore, it represents a cost-saving solution with short wiring to various channels.
The high scalability of the Data/Event Logger allows you to integrate virtually any number of devices into your company network.
