USB I/O - New
The device can record any physical parameters.
Due to its highly flexible and modular structure, the device can be fully customized on request. The combination of several USB I/O boxes is also possible without any problem. Thus long-term additional extensibility of existing solutions is guaranteed.
The Input/Output Box is connected via USB. The voltage supply is also provided via USB. The power input is extremely low, so that energy consumption is kept to a minimum, so all you need is one USB. Optionally, the I/O extensions can be connected externally to a 24V circuit.
The hardware integration is possible almost anywhere in a lab, as an extension of an industrial PC at the measuring station or at your office desktop computer.

Extension of Embedded Systems by digital and analog inputs and outputs. (as with the ipcas Embedded PC above. The ipcas LinuxBox LB1 can also be extended easily in the same way)

The flexible supplement to an industrial PC adds on more input and output options.
The I/O device is designed for DIN rail mounting. It can be operated within an extensive temperature range (-40°C bis +70°C). This fulfills best possible requirements for industrial use in rugged environments.

All analog I/O inputs have been designed as differential inputs.
Range from -10V to +10V or from 0 to +10 V depending on the module.
Added to the features of digital and analog recording of input values are the possibilities of open- and closed- loop control via output signals.
The recording of temperature and changes to thermal parameters can be performed easily with the PT100 module.
All modules of the I/O Box are galvanically decoupled up to 500V between the individual modules and up to 2.5kV between module and board (motherboard).
The Input / Output Box is recognized as a virtual COM port. Due to the device's high flexibility and transparent connection via USB, the handling of its integration into complex software environments is mere child's play. As operation system-independent hardware, the Input / Output Box can be used both under Linux and Windows.
