With the ipcas Centronics - USB Converter you can replace your legacy log printer with a customary USB printer* very easily without having to install any additional printer drivers. You also do not have to convert your present machines or interfaces.
The Centronics - USB Converter provides the most cost-effective solution to connect USB printers to older machines and PCs with parallel interfaces. No machine refitting or replacing of old machines required.
The converter is virtually maintenance-free, and opens up new opportunities for production plants to connect new log
printer generations to older machines. The compact ipcas converter reduces upgrading your equipment to child’s play: All you have to do is simply interconnect it.
Presettings and additional parameters such as activating time stamps for periodical logs can be set or adapted quite easily for the Centronics - USB Converter.
Cyclic logging cuts down paper consumption of USB page printers considerably. Here the individual print lines are first collected within the converter and then printed out page by page.
Alternatively, you can also save log data to a USB Stick or connect a network printer.
