Many devices need a modem (e.g. dial-up modem) which enables the communication to its partner via RS232 interface through a connected phone line. This could be very expensive especially for longer line holding times and distances.
The ipEther232.Modem+WLAN provides the connection for all such devices to an ethernet network over Wireless-LAN.
