USB Stick configuration software² for firmware as of Version 14.11¹
Unpack contents of the ZIP archive onto an empty USB Stick which has been formatted with the FAT file system.

Installation:
- Download and unpack the ZIP archive.
- The ZIP archive contains the firmware image as file fimage_all
- Create an ipcas folder in the root directory of a USB Stick.
- Copy the fimage_all file into the ipcas directory on your USB Stick.
- Safely remove the USB Stick from your PC (under Hardware/ Hardware component)
- Insert the USB Stick into a USB port on your printer converter.
- The firmware update starts shortly after connecting the USB Stick to the converter. This is indicated by fast blinking of the four LEDs System, Input, Printer and Format.
- The converter reboots automatically after completing the update.
Note: Please ensure correct notation (everything in lower case) when writing the ipcas directory and the firmware image fimage_all

Please make sure that your device runs with Firmware 14.7 or above.
The supplementary sheet "Device Information / Test Log" tells you which firmware version your device has been supplied with.
The firmware version used is also shown in the Version column of the configuration tool. |

You require "Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1" to be installed on your PC (also to be found in the Support folder on the USB Stick) in order to run the configuration software. |

USB Printers Supported by the ipcas Printer Converter
Selection criteria for printers not listed below:
Printers which are compatible with PCL3, PCL4, PCL5 or ASCII on the USB side are supported.
Some USB printers are offered with host-based technology such as GDI, CAPT or PPA.
Please note that these printers are not yet adequately supported.
