The CPU in the LinuxBox
The LinuxBox LB1 works with an ETRAX 100LX CPU from the company AXIS.
AXIS ETRAX 100LX is a 32-bit RISC CPU with 100 MHz and a performance of up to 100 MIPS. Among other things, the 100LX supports USB, serial interfaces, SDRAM, and has a MMU (MEMORY management unit).
Due to its MMU, the ETRAX 100LX, released by AXIS in 2000, enables you to use a real Linux operating system on embedded hardware.
