Telnet access to the Linux boxThe Linux box includes a telnet server which enables you to remotely administer the LinuxBox. With a so-called telnet client you can log into the LinuxBox and edit files, for example. The telnet server uses TCP Port 23. Access with telnet using Windows:
telnet 192.168.0.90
LinuxBox login: root
Password: pass However, inputting Enter does not work with some Windows clients. In this case press CTRL-J after entering Login and password.  |
