LB1 Firmware Image
Kernel: 2.4
without SSH
(Please unzip first)
USB update - Installation:
- Download and unzip the archive
- Rename the .fimage file (eg. ipcasLB1_14-4.fimage) into fimage_all or fimage.
fimage_all = factory default (Permits you to rewrite the complete flash memory of the device. All data will be lost.)
fimage = update the flash read-only partition of the file system containing the kernel image, while leaving the data (e.g. configuration files) on the flash read/write partition untouched.
- Create an ipcas folder in the root directory of a USB Stick.
- Copy the fimage_all or fimage file into the ipcas directory on your USB Stick.
- Safely remove the USB Stick from your PC (under Hardware/ Hardware component)
- Insert the USB Stick into a USB port on your LinuxBox LB1.
- The firmware update starts shortly after connecting the USB Stick to the LinuxBox LB1.
This is indicated by fast blinking of the four LEDs System, LED1, LED2 and LED3.
- The LinuxBox LB1 reboots automatically after completing the update.
Update time: 3-5 minutes
Caution: Do not unplug the USB stick or power supply. Otherwise, the LinuxBox might be rendered unbootable.
Note: Please ensure correct spelling (everything in lower case) when writing the ipcas directory and the firmware image fimage_all or fimage
