LB1 Firmware Image
Kernel: 2.4
without SSH
(Please unzip first)

USB update - Installation:
  1. Download and unzip the archive
  2. Rename the .fimage file (eg. ipcasLB1_14-4.fimage) into fimage_all or fimage.
fimage_all = factory default (Permits you to rewrite the complete flash memory of the device. All data will be lost.)
fimage = update the flash read-only partition of the file system containing the kernel image, while leaving the data (e.g. configuration files) on the flash read/write partition untouched.
  3. Create an ipcas folder in the root directory of a USB Stick.
  4. Copy the fimage_all or fimage file into the ipcas directory on your USB Stick.
  5. Safely remove the USB Stick from your PC (under Hardware/ Hardware component)
  6. Insert the USB Stick into a USB port on your LinuxBox LB1.
  7. The firmware update starts shortly after connecting the USB Stick to the LinuxBox LB1. This is indicated by fast blinking of the four LEDs System, LED1, LED2 and LED3.
  8. The LinuxBox LB1 reboots automatically after completing the update.
Update time: 3-5 minutes
Caution: Do not unplug the USB stick or power supply. Otherwise, the LinuxBox might be rendered unbootable.
Note: Please ensure correct spelling (everything in lower case) when writing the ipcas directory and the firmware image fimage_all or fimage
