Updating (firmware & software): Older versions might sometimes be incompatible with current versions. Please carefully read the ipEther232 firmware update instructions before installing or updating! Also available are older download versions of the configuration tools, different firmware versions and manuals.
¹	Please find out whether the firmware you want to update is compatible with your ipEther232 hardware! The respective configuration tool requires an ipEther232 with suitable firmware. (For example, configuration tool Version 4 requires firmware Version 4 and vice versa.) Please carefully follow the important notes on update procedure!
²	To install the configuration tool, you require Microsoft NET Framework Version 1.1.
