| Updates as of Version 10 to versions higher than 10 |
- Performing an update of Version 10 to higher versions is possible without any problem.
- Uninstall the currently installed configuration tool. ("ipcas ethernet products" in control panel)
- Then install the latest version of the configuration tool (12) .
- Now, please install the Service Pack 1 for Version 12 (it contains updates und the latest firmware).
- Open the configuration tool and select "Upload firmware" by clicking the right mouse button.
- Select the new ipEther232.IO firmware Version 12 now (ipEther_IOBOX_V12-1.HEX).
- After successfully completing the firmware upload, a restart of the configuration tool may be required.
