Important notes on different versions
Please check whether your ipEther232.Modem hardware is compatible with the desired update firmware. Firmware and configuration tools of individual versions can be incompatible with one another. The parallel use of an ipEther232.Modem configuration tool in versions smaller than 10, 10, or higher than 10 is possible on the same computer. Updates from Version 10 to versions above 10
Performing updates of version 10 to each higher version is possible without any problem. Uninstall the currently installed configuration tool. ("ipcas ethernet products" in control panel) Then install the latest version of the configuration tool (12). Open the configuration tool and select "Upload firmware" clicking the right mouse button. Select the new ipEther232.Modem firmware Version 10.8 (ipEther_Modem_V10-8.HTX). After successfully completing the firmware upload, a restart of the configuration tool may be required. How do I recognize whether my ipEther232.Modem has Version 10, 11 or 12 ?

Updates from Version 6 to Version 10
As of Version 10, a completely new and improved firmware structure has been implemented. Therefore, unfortunately, firmware updates from lower versions to Version 10 is quite complicated. Updates from versions smaller than 6 to Version 6
Firmware and configuration tool versions smaller than 6 are incompatible with Version 6. You can update the firmware in the "Firmware" section of the configuration tool. Use the currently installed configuration tool Version 2 for a firmware update. Make sure that only one ipEther232.Modem is installed. Now, perform the firmware update (firmware Version 6) with the configuration tool Version 3. After the update, the configuration tool Version 6 must be installed. For further updates to higher number versions, please proceed as described in "Updates from Version 6 to Version 10". How do I recognize whether my ipEther232 has Version 2?
