Analysing .NET applications by using the Trace Analyzer
|
You can start from global and statistical views, like Summary or Functions, and go to more detailed, contextual views such as Caller-Callee and Trace to analyze a .NET application.
A powerful tree view and comprehensive context menus (for setting bookmarks, displaying call histories, etc.) promote convenient inspection of tracing data of .NET applications.
Besides predefined filter settings, you can apply highly flexible additional filters (available only in Pro version). This allows you to skip uninteresting calls.
The Trace Analyzer enables you to locate functions quickly and to navigate among them easily.
The following figures show an example of switching from Trace view to Caller-Callee profiler view for function "WinTest.Form1.CreateNewBall".
