Resolving an application hang-up

Taking a snapshot

At this point, we are able to take a snapshot of our application by pressing the Stop Recording button. The profile is automatically transmitted to the appropriate project (Deadlock.xpt) creating a Trace Result, resulting from the profiling process.

The Choose SpeedTrace Output Type window will pop up allowing you to select either the profiler or profiler and tracer information. "Load Profile from Cache" opens subsequent calls to the profiler result faster.

Select Trace And Profile option to open the profile result in the Trace Analyzer.
