Analyzing application flow with a powerful data reduction concept

Many tools create unnecessary information during their profiling processes, which in turn produces complex and incomprehensible application flows. You can avoid information overload with SpeedTrace Pro's filter and trigger features. These capabilities must be set before you start to profile and trace your dotNET application.

• Recording filters (include and exclude): Include filters allow you to profile and trace only specified functions whereas exclude filters exclude specified functions from the trace list. Exclude filters have higher priority than include filters.

After you have finished profiling/tracing, you will analyze the result of an application and data flow using the Trace Analyzer.
