ipcas GmbH - Evaluate & Buy SpeedTrace profiler

Evaluation means trying out the software free of costs for a limited period of time. SpeedTrace Basic evaluation time is limited to 10 days.

Evaluate SpeedTrace Pro and Basic profilers - step by step:

Download and install SpeedTrace.
Start SpeedTrace.
In the 'Evaluate SpeedTrace' dialog, click 'Try SpeedTrace'.
In the 'EvaluationDialog' dialog, click 'Request Evaluation Code'.
A browser window will display the SpeedTrace evaluation page.
Enter your information and click 'Submit'.
An evaluation code will be sent to your email shortly.
Copy the evaluation code from the email, paste it into the text field in the 'EvaluationDialog' dialog and click 'Save Evaluation Code'.
A message will appear indicating the validation of the evaluation code. SpeedTrace starts.

Note: The evaluation code is only valid for the device where SpeedTrace is installed and will expire in 10 days.

Buy SpeedTrace Basic profiler - step by step:

Option 1. Install first, then buy

Download SpeedTrace.
Install SpeedTrace.
Start SpeedTrace.
Click 'Order Now' in the 'Evaluate SpeedTrace' dialog.
A browser window will display the Buy SpeedTrace page.
Continue with 'Buy on the webpage'.
Buy on the webpage
1. Follow the instructions on the page and click 'Next'.
2. Enter your desired quantity and optionally a discount code if you have received one and click on 'Recalculate' if you changed the quantity or discount code, if done click 'Next'.
3. Follow the instructions on the page, enter your data and then click 'Next'.
4. You are now redirected to the payment page via secured connection, enter your credit card information here and click 'Confirm payment'.
5. The next page says that your payment has been successfully completed, click 'Next'.
6. You are redirected back to the SpeedTrace homepage and should receive two emails: the invoice and your payment code(s). Alternatively, you can also click 'Invoice' or 'Payment codes' to open a page with the respective content.
Note: With one payment code only one activation code for SpeedTrace Basic can be requested. A payment code can only be used once.
Continue with 'Activate'.
Activate
1. In the SpeedTrace software 'Evaluate SpeedTrace' dialog, click 'Activate'.
2. Copy your payment code into the 'Payment Code' field in the 'Activate SpeedTrace' dialog and click 'Request Activation Code'.
3. A browser window will display the Activate SpeedTrace page, an email will be sent to you with your activation code.
4. Copy your activation code either from the webpage or from the email and paste it into the 'Activation Code' field in the 'Activate SpeedTrace' dialog and then click 'Activate'.
5. A message will appear to indicate that SpeedTrace has been successfully activated.
6. SpeedTrace is now fully usable.
Note: The activation code is only valid for the machine where SpeedTrace Basic is installed on and can not be reused on another system.

Option 2. Buy first, then install

Open a browser window and proceed to the Buy SpeedTrace page.
Continue with 'Buy on the webpage'.
Buy on the webpage

Configure the Floating license server - step by step:

Start SpeedTrace.
A small window will pop up requiring the location of the 'server file', browse to the location of the '.Lic file' in your server.
In the 'Welcome to SpeedTrace Pro' window, select I have a Serial Number and I want to activate SpeedTrace Pro and click the Next button.
In the 'Request Unlock Key by E-Mail' window, enter the serial number, name/company, e-mail address and click 'Request Unlock Key by E-Mail - send E-Mail'.
Your E-Mail client will open, containing the hardware IDs and license information. Press Send to send the e-mail to our activation center. You will get an Unlock Key back within 1-2 business days. Please do not modify the information!
The Unlock Key will be generated and sent back to you.
After requesting the "Unlock Key", the dialog 'Enter Unlock Key' will appear during each start of the program. Type in the unlock key you got sent by e-mail. Press the button Next. If the activation is successful, the 'Activation finished' dialog is displayed. Press Next to complete the activation process.
The Floating License Server is configured and SpeedTrace Pro is now fully usable!
