Using triggers and recording filters

Configuring the .NET project - Setting start trigger

At the Trigger tab, two types of triggers are to be set: The Start and the Stop triggers.

Wakeup Time refers to the time SpeedTrace Pro is an inactive state before it starts profiling and tracing. No recording or no trigger functions are carried out in this state until the timing ends. This feature can be set in msec, seconds or minutes. If the time is set to 0.00 sec, SpeedTrace will start recording immediately. If it is set to 2.00 sec, SpeedTrace will wait for 2 seconds before it becomes active to record the application.

You are able to set the time you want to start profiling and tracing your application by entering the method in the Method field. Or you can select the method using the Method Browser.

In the Method field, WinTest.Ball.Bounce has been selected. SpeedTrace Pro will immediately start to profile and trace your application when the function WinTest.Ball.Bounce is activated.
